The Day is Worth the Crinkles

I usually buy crinkles whenever I felt like I have done something satisfying in my part. Although I didn't completely satisfy myself for the day, but its still worth the crinkles.

To give you the highlights, I woke up at exactly 8:40 am and my ICS 10 online exams starts 8:40am. My alarm didn't work and in the morning, the sun was already shining bright and when I saw my alarm clock, it's already 2pm. Stupid alarm clock, I wont trust that alarm clock from now on. So there, adrenaline rush came up, I rode a taxi on my way to school and in 15 minutes I arrived in my classroom. Sir Francis still allowed me to take the exam fortunately. But unfortunately, after taking the exams, I found out that my score is only 33 out of 50. That would only be 66%. On the good side, I still passed with a disappointing grade.

In the afternoon, at exactly 1pm I arrived outside the FFP office to take our oral exams. My groupmates were Chiza and Kerwin. Kerwin was late. And the person we were under was quite a scary person. Not totally scary but unexpectedly scary. I think luck was on our side that time because when I picked a number, I got number four and the topic was about John Foppe. Earlier than that, I was thinking it would be best if about John Foppe will be our topic since its the topic I completely understand and could really comprehend with. So there, I did a good job speaking in English expressing my thoughts. Sometimes I had to rescue my teammates when I could already feel that they're already out of answers. But that was a great achievement. I'm confident that we got good grades with that.

Maybe my luck was because I ate crinkles before our oral exams as my lunch matched with Covacho. Crinkles always make me lucky (i think..hehe).

After the oral, I went straight to XU-Net since my companions were there too. It was almost 2pm and I realized that I have too meet Sir Francis to discuss and ask for help. Unluckily, he wasn't available so I have to deal with my program errors by myself. It was 3pm when I found Arvin outside XU-Net waiting for his turn. Arvin is a senior ComSci student so without a second thought, I asked him to help me out with my project. And so the errors of program totally reduced to TWO (2)! At 4pm, he had to go and I thanked him. I spent another hour for my program and I solved one problem. So that leaves the last problem left unsolved. But my eyes were getting sick of the monitor so I decided to go home.

So there, that's what happened in my day which is really worth the CRINKLES..!! nyahahaha!! I'll buy crinkles for tomorrow too for luck.

this is conventially me

I am in the middle of my review right now for my ICS 10 finals for tomorrow but I can’t get myself to focus. There are too many things in my mind right now. I want to study and have good grades. I want to take a break and just test my luck for tomorrow. I want to watch Death Note. I want to know myself more through reading Aquarian traits found in the internet. I’m thinking of the people I want to get rid of during the second semester. I want to quit in a club I didn’t want to get involved in the first place. I want to think of what I really want in my life. I’m confused with my religion. I am disappointed of my achievements for the first semester. I am not satisfied of my performance in everything I do. I am insecure of the other CS blocks. I want to encourage myself in doing my best in the course I chose. There was even once that I want to quit and shift to other course but I realized this is what I want and I will do well in this. I am thinking of my few block mates I want to still be with during the second semester. And for this very moment, I want to study. Until next time..!

My First CDOtaku Meet

It was on the 28th of August when I first met with the otakus at 246 CafĂ©. We were all invited at Mitsuki’s huge house to celebrate her 21st birthday. I had so much fun..!

And here’s my say about the Otakus I met that day:

michiru – the first girl I approached at 246 to confirm if she’s an otaku. I felt so comfortable talking with her. And she was speaking often in Japanese (many of those words I can barely understand). She’s a junior ComSci student.

kunoichi_hime – she’s a tall girl! And she knows how to read and write in Japanese… I was completely amazed when I found out that she was the one who wrote those characters on in the dedication card of her present for mitsuki.

furtive – I found him an amusing person. I like the way he tells stories or describes because he makes your imagination run. He’s like my classmate in high school. And he’s also a junior ComSci student.

arvin – just after I approached michiru, arvin were into chatting. Arvin knew what I felt just before I was acquainted with the other otakus. Haha! *ulaw keo* Arvin is a batchmate of Labe (my brother) who graduated ealier than him.

yume – the first thing I noticed in yume was her contact lens. She probably doesn’t know I’m wearing contact lenses too. I also feel comfortable talking with yume and she’s smiles a lot.

pinkchocobo – “chinita.” Yeah, she is, indeed, chinita. She was Labe’s high school classmate.

togechikku – the boyfriend of pinkchocobo. Hehe! He’s a ComSci student at CU.

Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vicci – his name’s kristof. He draws really good (according to them though I haven’t seen his work yet). Always xa gkabullshit atong nagdula mi ug bullshit na game. Ahahahaha! (Actually halos kami man tanan cge gkabullshit except ni furtive ug vampy)

Sham3oNyOu – I was his work. His drawings were super amazing!

Champoyradoo – fellow freshmen ComSci!! Unfortunately, he’s belongs in Block F. I’m in block B.

Zangy – best friend of Armand – is also a friend of mine.

Mitsuki – the birthday girl. She has this really huge house..! She’s a fresh graduate from La Salle and Joseph Yeo (my preken crush) was once his classmate!! I’m jealous…

Vampy – has this long hair. He’s kinda quiet but he’s outgoing. During out game of bullshit, he’s playing wisely.

SwanKnight – more of the loner, I think. That time, he loves sitting at the sofa listening to his mp3. Well, I know a thing about him; he knows how to COOK (unlike me).

My First Documented Day

Honestly, nothing special happened for the day. I just feel like writing…

So here’s the day’s documentation:

12am -3am – I went to sleep.
3:00 – 5:45 – I did a research on our history assignment. I studied math 01 and ICS 10
5:45 – 6:30 – I went back to sleep again
6:30 – 7:00 – I prepared for school.
7:00 – 7:18 – I counted the savings of my brother because he said he’s already broke then bought food.
7:18 – 7:35 – I ate my lunch and went to school.
7:35 – 8:15 – I traveled to school.
8:15 – 10:40 – ICS Lab (I think the time was extended because we’re supposed to finish at 10:20)
10:40 – 11:05 – Lunch with Ellen, Dan and Charlene
11:05 – 1:03 – Research in History at lib. I remember laughing like mad during this time. I actually don’t know what’s with me that time. I just felt like laughing maybe.
1:03 – 1:50 – English Class. I was tired so I slept for a few minutes.
2:00 – 2:52 – Math Class. We had a quiz that turned out to be a home quiz.
3:00 – 3:50 – History Class. I sat in front hoping that I would listen attentively to our teacher but unfortunately, I ended up laughing and having a good time with Ed most of the time.
4:00 – 4:50 – FFP Class. I got an A- in FFP. Weee! (lol. What an achievement..)
5:00 – 6:15 – Ateneo Camera Club meeting. Photography isn’t really my interest; I was just convinced to join because of Kit and Ed. Tensai gave me a couple of DVDs which I requested from him. Then bonding with the ACC members.
6:15 – 6:33 – I walked with Dan as we were about to go home. Then I saw Ellen waiting for a jeepney. Carvy was also there but I didn’t notice him until he talked.
6:33 – 7:18 – I rode on the same jeepney with Carvy since we have the same destination, Bulua. Then I arrived home.
7:30 – NOW – I’m here, using the internet. Watching Densha Otoko specials.

Correct me if I'm wrong?!

It's been a while since I used the statement "correct me if I'm wrong". I feel so arrogant for saying this but I don't like being corrected now! True, everyone makes mistakes but for now, I don't want to be corrected. But in spite the idea of hating being corrected, I still accept my mistakes. I'm an open-minded person for real.

Why am I making a big deal out of this? It's because the feeling sucks. It makes me burst out in anger. Yet also drown in embarrassment though it only applies when I know that I truly made mistake. If I know that I don't have a mistake but someone still corrects me, TO HELL WITH HIM! Sometimes I even get to the point of wanting him dead or imagining the worst out of him.

I have also been in many instances that people tend to believe what they think is ALWAYS right and after a few moments, they ended up realizing what they said or did was wrong and eventually regret. I get totally pissed off with them. That's the result of not listening to other's opinion, BE INNOVATIVE ENOUGH TO LIVE REALITY FOLKS!

I do have someone who always pisses me off. I don't hate him/her but he's/she's totally pathetic! I hate giving him/her ideas or warning since there's no use. So now, when we're together, I don't talk to much about my own point of view since she/he would want his/her idea to be considered ALWAYS. Geez..! And what usually happens, he/she always proves him/herself wrong. Then me? ahemm.. HEAD UP! Then I would think, "You deserve that." I mean, for how many months we've been together, that might have already reached years, couldn't he/she learned his/her lessons?!?! He/she's too stubborn and I want to punch him/her hard to realize that he/she's making a fool of him/herself already.

For there are hundred kinds of people one has encountered or will be encountering, being pissed off when corrected is normal. Or being pissed off for ignoring your ideas, warning or correction is..uhmm.. also normal.

I have one thing to say about correcting others, can you do it like it is what you think is correct but don't ever emphasize that what the person thinks is totally wrong. They're not the same. Get my point? If the person you're talking to is too humble or naive to be taking what you've said, it must be fine; but if not, I tell you, the person wants you dead on that moment already.
